The death toll has risen dramatically after last week's fatal fire in a high rise apartment building in London.
Metropolitan Police Commander Stuart Cundy updated the numbers during a news conference earlier today, "I'm afraid to say there are now 79 people, who we believe are either dead or missing. I have to safely presume they are dead."

Five people have been identified so far, but due to the intensity of the fire, Cundy says it may be difficult to identify everyone, "For many families, they have lost more than one family member and my heart truly goes out to them. What is important to me is to find answers for those families who have been so deeply affected."
There's no word on a cause yet.
