Child Welfare Agencies Receive Infrastructure Funding

A number of children's agencies in northwestern Ontario are receiving funds for facility upgrades.

The money is part of a 16-million dollars investment from the provincial government across Ontario.

Sioux Lookout-based Tikinagan Child and Family Services is getting 690-thousand for a number of projects.

Kenora's Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services will get 153-thousand.

Kenora-Rainy River District Child and Family Service is earmarked for 38-thousand

FIREFLY is getting 95-hundred for a project to replace a lighting system with more energy efficient one.
