The Kenora Association for Community Living is getting 45 thousand dollars to help fix up a couple of it's buildings.

The money will go towards a couple of it's properties:  one on Railway Street the other on 3rd Street North.

The money is for repairs and upgrades and is part of a three million dollar program announced by the Minister for Community and Social Services.

KACL says it will also give young adults, who don't have permanent housing, access to showers, meals, training for employment, a safe space to gather and a place to store their belongings.
